The Cleaning Ministry is considered to be a very important area of service. When we consider that the purpose of any ministry is to bring glory and honor to God, we give Him our best. We want this building to be a blessing to God and to all who worship here. Serving on this ministry team is an opportunity to fellowship with others as well as with the Lord. The work can be completed at your convenience to fit into busy schedules.
Coffee Bar Ministry
The Coffee Bar is a part of our First Impressions Team whose goal is to create a one-of-a-kind, on campus experience by sharing God’s love with others in a practical way. Through the simple act of serving coffee, hot chocolate, water and baked goods, we connect with people in a simple non-threatening way. The coffee bar is a place where relationships are encouraged and friendships are formed.
Each week cookies are provided in between Sunday School and Morning Service. If you are interested in making cookies please visit with one of the people working the coffee bar.
Admit it, sometimes the first person that you see at a new church can make you feel unwelcome or intimidated just by walking through those doors. We want to help visitors and members feel welcomed and loved at each and every service. The Greeting Ministry is about making every person feel that they belong at our church.
Young or old, married or single, male or female, there is group just waiting for you! In a small, intimate setting, you will experience the love of God as you connect to a group of soon-to-be friends who are ready to experience life with you. Together you will become a close-knit group of friends as you eat, laugh, pray, share, study and serve together. Groups meet in homes throughout the week.
Home groups meet throughout the month. It is determined by the group as to dates, times and locations of their meetings.
The purpose of this ministry is to provide a Christ-like and welcoming atmosphere in which people will feel secure and be encouraged to fellowship together. Members will assist with baby and wedding showers. They will also provide meals for funerals.
LIFT: Ladies Inspirational Fellowship Time
LIFT meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 11:30 am in the fellowship hall. Ladies from around the community come together to join in fellowship with each other and hear a God-filled message from an inspirational speaker.
All buildings inevitably require upkeep. This ministry is simply people who have gathered together to inspect, fix, or upgrade the church. Anyone who likes physical work or finds enjoyment in serving and helping others will find being a part of this ministry most fulfilling. Workers usually converse while working and thus spend a time of fellowship with others. We welcome all who wish to help out by donating some of their free time in serving with our maintenance ministry. The group tries to meet quarterly, but there is also a need for regular maintenance.
The Media Team strives for excellence in glorifying God through the use of high-tech equipment. We ensure that all people are able to hear and see the components of the sermon to reinforce the message being presented. In today's high-tech society, we find ourselves incorporating equipment that embraces each persons unique learning style. From sound and lighting to video and computer graphics, the team works hard behind the scenes to keep the sermon running smoothly.
The Media Team’s talents are not just used on Sundays; we use our talents to promote community activities as well as our own congregational activities. The facility is used throughout the week for community meetings, weddings, funerals and other social gatherings.
The Media Team also incorporates the church website into its ministry. The sermons are recorded and posted online to accommodate those who are not able to attend along with our followers around the globe. It is updated regularly with upcoming activities.
Come join us for a great breakfast and fellowship with the guys! It's not only great food but great biblical based teachings. Nick is the guy to contact and he would love to here from you, if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask, it would be great to see you.
The purpose of this ministry is to provide a Christ-like environment for infants and toddlers. Our standards of care and hygiene will win the confidence of concerned parents. The nursery is available at 9:00 am during Sunday school and at 10:30 am during Praise and Worship until the conclusion of the service. Sometimes the nursery is open for special events, home groups and for Bible Studies.
Our youth group ranges from ages 13-18. The youth study God’s Word and learn how to cope with the pressures of being a teenager in a biblical way. They have outside activities regularly, (weather permitting), and are involved in the community. The youth attend camps, revivals, conferences, etc.
At the beginning of each service, the worship team leads the congregation with songs. The music relates to the people where they are and then eases them into worshiping our Father as if they were personally praying to Him from their hearts. It is a meaningful way to show just how much we honor, love, praise, and worship our God.
